General terms and conditions of sale

Scope of applicability

Callisto Sàrl is based in the canton of Geneva. The company is registered in the commercial register: CHE-339.676.345. Callisto Sàrl offers catering and bar services. The present general terms and conditions of sale bind Callisto Sàrl on the one hand and the customer on the other hand to a contract.

Warranty and liability

Callisto Sàrl asks each customer to verify the condition of the delivered goods without delay to exclude obvious material and manufacturing defects as well as transport damage. In accordance with the law, you are obliged to notify us of any defect or anomaly affecting the goods delivered to enable us to remedy it. We consider that the goods have been accepted and validated if we have no complaint from the customer 30 minutes after delivery of the goods.

Callisto Sàrl commits itself to deliver the products in the adequate standards of hygiene as well as to respect the cold chain for the frozen products. The customer becomes responsible once the goods are delivered.

Price

Payment is made in Swiss Francs, including VAT. After agreement with Callisto Sàrl the invoice can be sent by mail or email and must be paid within 30 days of receipt.

Delivery and home service

Callisto Sàrl delivers for the moment only in the canton of Geneva and in a defined area. We invite you to check your postal code directly on the « Reservation » page from our website. If your postal code is not part of the defined geographical area, we invite you to contact us by phone or email and we will deal with it on a case-by-case basis in order to best meet your wishes.

Customer absence

When making a reservation the customer chooses a delivery time slot. In case of absence, the deliverer will leave the products on the doorstep of the customer and at this moment the customer becomes responsible. Callisto Sàrl declines any responsibility in case of deterioration of the goods and in case of theft. Concerning the “mobile waiter” service, the mobile waiter will contact the customer in case of absence and will stay 15 minutes on site. Once this time limit is exceeded, Callisto staff will leave the premises and the service will be invoiced.

Return

Food and beverages cannot be returned or exchanged due to the handling of the products by the customer. Therefore Callisto Sàrl can not ensure the hygiene standards.

Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

If the dispute cannot be settled amicably between the customer and Callisto Sàrl, it will be treated by the Cantonal Court of Geneva, with appeal to the Federal Court.
